Loic Sumfor

The sensational Afro-pop singer, songwriter, and front liner for Synergians Music Loic Sumfor was born Sumfor Loïc Fuh on February 09, 2001, in Bamenda, North West Region, Cameroon. His passion for music embraced him at a tender age, got him pursuing it from the age of 8, warming hearts and gracing stages. As he only got better. In the year 2015 he got his first recognition winning 2nd prize at the HITV Talent show. In 2017, he won 1st prize at the TADYAS Music award and 2nd prize at the talent hunt show in 2018.

Professionally, his music started in 2020 with the birth of a working relationship with NEWSTARZ ENT followed by his debut single; It’s You released in August 2020. Other songs released by Loic Sumfor during his time with NEWSTARZ include hit single Banki and emotional single Hello all audiovisual releases in December 2020 and August 2021 respectively. He also realized four covers and an album titled “The Beginnings”

His musical journey took a new turn in November 2021 as he became the front liner of Synergians music which he released the audiovisuals of a timeless afro piece titled Maybe in December 2021, a solemn and heartwarming single titled Déjà vu featuring soul singer Pecutie released in March 2022 which skyrocketed him to fame, followed by a party amapiano love song in September 2022 titled Misbehave featuring French singer Ful and a single, titled Perfect in November 2022 with visuals released in December 2022. In February 2023, he dropped his debut EP titled “District 21” with six songs and two of them featuring the UBa choir and Awu.

He’s been in multiple collaborations with artists like Ful, Pecutie, Askia, Lill Humble, Raizy, Keja Kit, Phido, UBa Choir and Awu.

Music aside, Loic Sumfor is a Computer Engineering Graduate from the University of Bamenda and has worked with several brands including Yellow card and CAMYE Awards.
