Mubeh Philemon Ngang (born August 2000), known professionally as Phido is a singer, rapper, poet and songwriter who hails from the grassfield regions of Cameroon.

Phido is one of the pioneers of the growing alternative afro-beats (Alte) scene in Cameroon, with inspiration from global acts like Manu Dibango(of blessed memory), Richard Bona, Burna Boy, Stormzy, Kanye West, Dave & Sauti Sol. His music is a blend of Afrobeats, R&B and Hip-hop.

Active in the music space since 2019, he grew to regional recognition in 2022 when he released the single Take Over, off his Gwana EP, which has garnered over 50K streams on spotify, and whose video is beyond 50K views on youtube.

His music is both inspirational and entertaining and covers life lessons and topics like love, hard work, self belief etc. His collaborations include artists like Awu, Rappnem De Drummer, Vegah, Loic Sumfor & Tzy Panchak,
